Bert
came from Chris and Jeff Bolton in England. He is our first Border
Collie. Getting Bert from Chris and Jeff was inspired by Sharon
Freilich's Rip and Nancy Gyes' Wicked, two of the nicest personality
dogs I had seen, and hard workers as well. Bert's forte isn't top
speed, but fast consistency. He has done best in USDAA DAM events where
the team with Cathy Wells and Jeremy Gerhard finished 3rd in 2005 and
5th in 2006, as well as AAC which is cumulative score from 6 runs. He
was 3rd in AAC in 2005 and won in 2006. In addition to agility moving
to Carp, Ontario for 4 years allowed us to expand his horizions. He
learned Flyball and to pull a sled. Sledding turned out to be Nan's
